How can I obtain sole ownership for my father's property I have been living on and paying taxes for 8 years?

You need to adversely possess the property for over 10 years. Otherwise, assuming no will, to distribute now, you share with the other heirs and will be entitled to reimbursement for all expenses you paid over the years.

Is your father still alive? If so, he can deed the property to you in most cases. If he's deceased, who are the heirs? Did he have a spouse? Other children? There are a number of ways to handle this, the most effective way depends on the facts.
