Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
holy cow
I own a home with a man that had some years of sobriety and relapsed. I found it difficult to live with him so we kind of ''split'' the house down the middle literally, he lives on one side and I live on the other. He continues to come over on my side or doing something weird when he drinks. I dont care if he would just stay on his side and leave me alone. He also owes the IRS who has a lien What can I do? thanks

Re: holy cow
Buy him out and ask him to move. If he won't cooperate or it isn't possible, then sell him your share. As a last resort you can contact an attorney who will ask the judge to order a sale and split the proceeds (partition the property).
