Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

if a home is foreclosed on in Georgia can wages be garnished in Texas. company does not finance nor refinance a mobile home , they sent us a uniform borrower assistance form asking for all our financial information. do we need to fill out paper work

There is no wage garnishment in Texas for an ordinary debt.

There IS wage garnishment in Texas for child support and for alimony.

And the IRS can garnish wages for back income taxes.

Are you refinancing something? Why do these people want "financial information?"
