If your home goes into foreclosure and you have a surplus in escrow, are you entitled to the escrow if you paid to get your home out of foreclosure (past due, late fees and attorney fees)?

The escrow will go toward the lender's losses. However, if the house sells for more than the liabilities, you can claim the excess proceeds by contacting the Trustee.
