Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Homeowners legal counsel
My HO association recently had some confusion and disagreement amongst the members and the board regarding the exact meaning of some clauses in the bylaws. The board members decided to consult an attorney for an interpration (pretty sure they used the HO funds for this). Now, they are refusing to disclose the lawyer's opinion to the members, claiming this falls under attorney client privilege. Is there anything us members can to do force them to tell us what the attorney said about our bylaws?
