Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

House Apprasel

I was given an apprasel for a house saying the house is worth $75,000. Once I actually got a chance to see the house, and some other opinions, the house should not have apprased for that much. I think it actually is worth around $35k -$40k. The apprasel was used in the financing of the loan. What can I do about this, I feel like I have been scamed?

Re: House Apprasel

How were you damaged? You got your loan, right?

If you were a buyer and relied on a bad appraisal, then maybe. If you default on your loan, then your lender may have a cause of action, but I don't see a lawsuit that would benefit you.
