Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
House Foreclosure
Mortgage Co. has filed an aplication to forclose on my home and put it up for sale. The letter certified to me states I may employ an attorney to file a written response with the county court clerk by a date and time specified otherwise the court may grant an application for forclosure sale on my home. It is difficult to afford a lawyer for me and am looking for any options available to me. What can I do? All and any advice is appreciated, thankyou.

Re: House Foreclosure
There are several options. You are also probably being contacted by "investors" who have the foreclosure list. Be sure you contact an attorney to discuss the best alternative for you. Most will provide a free initial consultation.
Re: House Foreclosure
You should speak with a lawyer familiar with bankruptcy and real estate, as you may have some options which may include filing bankruptcy, refinancing the property, short sale or a deed in lieu.
