Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
My house was sold in a foreclosure sale in Oct. We were not notified of the sale till we got eviction notice in July. The bank that sold our house kept telling us that they had the paperwork that we had sent that they had requested and were reviewing it. We are still receiving letters from the old bank. Do we have any sort of case against the bank that sold the house for not informing us of the sale?
We live in Texas if that is important

If the bank that did the foreclosure did not follow the mandatory notice requirements, then you have a case for a wrongful foreclosure.
Your remedies are to seek to rescind the sale, or damages. When is the last time you made a payment on the house?
