Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My ex husband and I are joint owners of a house that he has been living in for over 20 years. After, for some reason, just now, I checked into the status of it, I found out that he is behind on taxes and suit was already filed. He is making payments. I was not notfied since they did not have a current address. Could you please advice me what I can do and what could happen if I don't do anything. Thank you so much for help

If you don't do anything, the taxing authority could foreclose the house. You should have been given notice, however. If the ex can't afford it (and it doesn't appear that he can) then you two should consider selling it, paying the taxes and splitting the proceeds. Doing nothing is a very, very bad choice on your part.
