Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My husband and I purchased a piece of land with a trailer on it that was previously owned by my dad. My sister had lived there for a couple of years previously. When we bought it she had not lived there for about 6 months. However, she left a ton of stuff. I need to send a notice of eviction but I am not sure of her address, what other ways do I have to try to contact her or what do I do about sending the notice? For that matter since she has been gone for over a year, do we have any legal right to clean her things out based on abandonment?

You don't need to evict her since she is not there and you have every right to clean out her things. If she hasn't been there for a year, she has abandoned her items. I am assuming she is not paying utilities. As a courtesy you can move her items to storage and try to find her. If you have a driver's license number and/or social security number, a skip-tracer may be able to locate your sister.
