Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I have inherited a peice of property in another town . I have mineral rights on this land. The land is of little value, and I am considering NOT paying the taxes on this land. When it is sold on the courthouse steps, will I retain the mineral rights or will they be awarded to the new owner?

No. It will go to the new owner. Even if the land is of little value, you should try craigslist.org or ebay and at least get something. Good luck.
