A property that is adjoined to other properties has a private road, but is not an easment. Can the property owner of the first adjoining property prevent you from acessing your property through his road?

Yes, but if you can prove-up a perscriptive easement or easement by necessity you can use the road. It will take a lawsuit and possibly an injunction (depending on the facts).
