can i get out of my lease with the information below?
my husband and i are buying a new house. and in my apartment lease it states the following:
special provisions. Your right of early termination is or is not limited to a particular fact situation. If limited, early termination may be excercised only if the following occur and the decribed doucments are furnished to us. a letter verifying that your job tranferred over 30 miles away or a letter from a title company verifying your contract to purchase a home and the scheduled closing date. any special provisions below will supercied any conflicitin provison of this form. the special provisions are: and there is nothing listed below. I have turned in the letter verfiying our contract on our new home and it also states our closing date. the lady at the apartments came back and said there is nothing in our contract that states that so when i scanned the contract and emailed it to her, then her response was i still cant get out of it. will you please help me and give me some advice on this. i read this staments as i can get out of my lease since we are buying a new house. thank you

I would have to read the contracts in place to give you an answer. My advice to you is to hire a lawyer to send a letter to the apartment complex management company and owner detailing what you described, and to state exactly what the management company told you. This letter shouldn't cost much, and it will give you peace of mind. I've seen situations where apartment complex management companies change, and the new company doesn't know what the prior company did, etc. Though it's technically not your problem, it can cause you great inconveniences if not attended to now.
