Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Lease Problem

I signed a lease with a property owner which I created my self stipulating a 90 day written notice to terminate the lease early. Now, I want to change the notice to 30 days.

Question: In Texas is a 90 day escape notice legal? How can I get out of this 90 day notice requirement?

Re: Lease Problem

The 90 day provision is legal. You can modify the lease only with the permission of the landlord.

It is rarely a good idea to act as your own lawyer.
