Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
legal form
I bought two parcels of land that was tied together as a single ownership along with one other lot. I went to closing and this year went to the apprasial district and had them seperated and now want to buy the last lot from same person without going to closing as cost of lot is less than $500.00 and this person has agreed to sign over to me.What type of deed form do i use for that person to sign.

If it were me, I would have them sign a General Warranty Deed. Also, you may want to buy a title policy to make sure there aren't any outstanding tax liens, judgments, etc. that may encumber your property.
