Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Legal Right to Property
Who has the legal right if a relative dies, did not leave a will, & I am currently living in the house. One of my siblings resided in the house before me now she is causing me a lot of problems and I need to know my legal rights.

You are probably a "Tenant at Sufferage" and therefore can retain possession until the appropriate party takes action to terminate your tenancy. The ownership of the house will be determine under the intestacy laws of Texas because there is no will. Some interested party will have to file with the probate court to determine where the property goes and get it properly titled. Meanwhile enjoy you tenancy as it appears currently no one has the right to remove you.

I dont have enough information to answer this. Who specifically died? Did the deceased have a spouse or children? Are in the house under some sort of lease?
