Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Legal Will
Do my spouse and I need to make a joint will since we both have adult children from previous marriages so that none of the children will be excluded?

Re: Legal Will
What you do depends on how the first to die distributes his/her estate. If biological kids of the decedent are taken care of then, do separate wills. If not, a trust is more appropriate. History has shown that stepkids get the bad end of the deal if they're not taken care of up front.

Don't make a joint will. You each need to make your own wills. Joint wills are a bad idea. Having separate wills is not very expensive, and you will avoid headaches later
