Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Legally bound to contract 6 mos after closing?

When selling our home, the contract stated that we must fix a pipe in the attic before closing. We could not locate the pipe to be fixed, and the buyer was completely aware of this and we went through with closing. 6 mos later the buyer is contacting us to repair the pipe. Are we still legally obligated to do this?

Yes you probably are, unless the contract had language letting you forget about this obligation after delaying for 6 months.
