Do you need a real estate license to purchase property and rent it out.

Howdy:
If you are purchasing for yourself (that is, you're the buyer), and you'll rent them out as the owner of the property, no real estate licnese if required.
It would be required if you were to act on behalf of someone else in the sale, or if you were to handle the rental of someone else's property.
