lien satisfaction

I had a lien on property in Fort Worth, tex. The property was sold and the title co. did not un cover lien. Seven years has passed and the lien has now come to light and title co. wants to settel for the orgeinal lien amount with no interest. Do i have legal right to clame the interest?

If the title company is still liable for its negligence/oversight you should be able to claim interest perhaps at a statutory rate.
