Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I live in a subdivision in the county of Navarro. I have lived here 7 years with NO HOA and NONE refrenced in the property deed which is 5 acres with NO common areas. Attempts are in work to form an Home Owners Association. Do I have to join and do I have to comply with any rules they may enact???

You shouldn't have to join unless the court orders you to do so. However, you should check your title policy to make sure there isn't a prior obligation to join that might be in a restrictive covenant or declaration which would require you to participate in the association when it is formed.
