Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I live in tx my father passed and their was land. he lived on the land is in my grand fathers name and he has also died who would the land go to

If the land is still titled to the grandfather, then the land goes to the grandfather's heirs, pursuant to the laws of decent and distribution which were in place with the grandfather died. (The laws changed significantly in 1993.) You would then trace the heirs of each deceased heir of the grandfather, until you had all living heirs.
