Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I have lived with someone for 12 years and took out a loan for a house that we lived in.We are both on the loan, I am primary on the loan. We are on longer togeather and I would like to get off the loan. He metion that he might sue me for payments. He still lives in the house I do not. I am also going to contact the morgage company to see what can be done. Does he have any way to get payments from me since we are no longer togeather nor will we get back togeather. He is not working, I was going to let it go into forclosure.

Your obligation is to the lender. The lender will not release you from the loan. If ex tried to sue you, I doubt he would be successful. Best of luck.
