Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I have been making the payments on a house that is in my mother-in-laws name. Being divorced, a loan was not easy to get. She is in frail health. If she should die before the mortgage is paid off, will the mortgage company call the loan or let the payments keep coming. The house will be mine when paid off according to her will.

Typically, the mortgage company will accept payments, especially if you ahve a cliam of right ot the property. If she is tryly frial health, you should have the will reviewed by a PROBATE lawyer, to make sure everything is OK with it, and so you can be prepared when the time comes. You should also have her to a deed, and wait to record it, as a Plan "B".
