Mineral Rights

I am selling some property but want to keep the mineral rights, what will I have to do. The buyer has agreed it is ok. I am giving him a cash warranty deed.

You will reserve those rights in the deed. I typically prepare such a document for $100. You should find an attorney.

Do a deed with a reservation of mineral rights. Do NOT do this yourself!! You can get a lawyer or title company to do correctly for a few hundred dollars.
