Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Missied closing date(s)

Our first closing date was missed buy our mortgage company like it never existed. Their explanation is they are very busy. The second date is a week away and we thought we had progress but we contacted the supervisor of what we where told was the final review department and she ,after bieng very upset that we got her number, told us that there was nothiong in our file, no documents. We have already submit everything twice. So far its been fifty days and counting. Her response was ,that's not my fault and not my department I can't help you. She told us that they probably won't make the closing date. We have already lost a thousand in repairs the seller was going to do after we missed the first date.

What can we do? Do we have any recoarse against the mortgage company?

You can always change mortgage companies and have your file transferred over. Patrick Pittman at Chase has always given me great service. www.thepittcrew.com. Good luck.
