Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My mom has failing health and she is trying to sell her house to home vestors within the next 30 days or less. She has been told she has a lien on her house. The company that put the lien on her house filed Chapter 7 in january. How do we get this off her house PDQ?

This will almost certainly require a motion and hearing in the bankruptcy court. Quickest way is to contact the bankruptcy trustee and negotiate a settlement of the claim. You'll need a lawyer. If an amount is agreed on, it can be paid out of the house sale proceeds.
