Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
Mortgage Foreclosure
The Mortgage company sent a man out 3 days ago to let us know the property was being foreclosed on and I was wondering legally how long they have to give us to move out?

Re: Mortgage Foreclosure
Sometime after it forecloses, you will be given a 3-day notice to move by the new owner. If you don't move, you will be served a while later by the justice of the peace. There will be a hearing and the new owner will win. If you don't move, then the new owner will apply to the constable for a writ to remove you. You definitely want to be out by then.....
