Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My Mother and common-n-law husband purchased a home with both of their names on the Deed, however, they have been seperated (for 20 yrs.). I have resided w/her since the seperation inwhich she paid the mortgage off and all of the property taxes. She recently past, willing the house to me. What rights do I have or legal actions I must take?

If no will, contact a local attorney to help you with an heirship proceeding. You have several complicated issues at play here. Be sure and advise attorney to explore adverse possession rights of your mother to acquire common-law husband's interest.
