Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
My mother and father bought a home that I have since paid them for. The house is still in their names. They want to put the house in my name. What is the best and easiest way to do this?

It's called a general warranty deed. It's a simple document that's signed before a notary and is recorded in the county clerk's office. That's all it takes.

A real estate attorney or title company can do this for you for a few hundred dollars.
