motor vehicle abandonment

I have two motorcycles that a man left at my house. It's been 6 months, he has made no effort to retrieve them. How long does it take in the state of Texas to declare a vehicle abandoned?

Send him notice by certified mail with return receipt requested that you are charging him so much for storage each day. You are responsible for the safekeeping of the property. I'd have to check to see how long you would reasonably have to hold on to them.
