Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I moved in with one of my co-workers and she did not have a washer and dryer in her apartment, so I went and bought one and had it installed in the apartment. Things ended up not working out and I decided I was going to move out. I couldn't take the washer and dryer with me at the time so I told her I would be back to get it, or she could pay me the 500 dollars I spent on it and keep it, she told me that she would pay me the money for it. It has been 2 months now and I have not heard a word from her. She won't answer my phone calls or text. I have asked her in person and she just gets defensive. I still have my apartment key and the washer and dryer is in my name. Is there any way I can just go in the apartment and get it?

No. You would be trespassing and she could file charges. I would either keep trying to contact her to set up a time to pick them up or file a suit against her in small claims court for the $500 plus court costs. The lawsuit might wake her up, but it will cost you approximately $100 to file (maybe just an official sounding certified letter might work).
