Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Is it the obligation of both parties to share in the expense of replacing a shared boundary fence? Granted the fence is older, but it was not in disrepair until my neighbor's pitbull mix started systematically destroying it. What claims do I have under the circumstances?

There is no obligation. You should call animal control regarding the pit bull if he trespasses onto your land.
