Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Any options to stop/delay foreclosure on properties?

I have become aware that all 5 rental properties my family owns are due to be foreclosed in 5 days. These properties were in a trust and the administrator of the trust failed to pay property taxes. I would like to know what I can do to

1) is there a specialized attorney I may talk to?

2) setup some kind of payment plan to pay off the back taxes (aprox. $70k)?

3) stop the properties from being auctioned off?

4) is there anything I can do to keep my tenents from being affected during this whole process?

Thank you for anything you may have to offer.

Foreclosures typically occur on the first Tuesday of the month in Texas. As for what to do, you need to contact the taxing authorities (normally there are several per property) and see about working out payment schedules. I've done this in the past with decent results.

You may also need to get together all of the beneficiaries of the trust and have the trustee removed and a new one appointed.
