Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Overpayment

I signed a mineral rights lease in March 2008 for my property. The land mgmt company paid me twice for the lease amount, which turned out to be their mistake. This occured over one year ago and I've paid income taxes on the amount. They recently discovered their mistake and are attempting to collect the amount from me. Am I required to repay the overage they paid me? What course of action could they take against me if I don't pay them?
