Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I have been paying the property taxes on my mother's property for the last 11 years ad living in the home for the same length of time. I purchased a mobile home 10 years ago and she is living in the mobile home, which I am also paying for and am paying for the property taxes on that as well. Does this entitle me to the property when she passes away? I have all of the tax receipts for those years and proof of residence since living here at this address.

No, paying taxes while you live there doesn't automatically entitle you to the property. If you're the sole heir, it may wind up being yours via intestacy, but not because you paid the taxes during her lifetime. Either have her deed it to you now, or leave it to you in her will.

If your mother wants you to have the real property before she dies, she can deed it to you. If your mother wants you to have the real property after you die, she can leave it to you in her will or living trust.
