Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Getting another person's name on your property

My husband and I are purchasing a home but the loan has to be in his name only because of my credit issues. Everything we own is in both of our names, and we have had another house with both our names on the loan but it was an FHA loan (they give a little slack on credit). We would like to add my name to the home, not the loan. What is the easiest way to go about this?

Re: Getting another person's name on your property

It is a simple enough problem. Husband executes a Quit Claim to Husband and Wife as Joint Tenants with Right of Survivorship and the deal is done.

Both names on title, only Husband's name on mortgage.
