When you take title to your property next week, have the title company put your name on the deed as "Mary Doe, a married woman, as her sole and separate property." Then, after that, as icing on the cake, you can have your new husband sign a disclaimer deed to you which will disclaim any interest he has in the property. Have the title company record the disclaimer deed after the deed into you. Keep in mind, that if the marriage goes south, he could ask for reimbursement of any payments, improvements, taxes, etc. that are paid in the future from his separate or community funds, as could you, if the shoe were on the other foot.
