Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I had to place my dad into a nursing home for rehabilitation. If he does not come out what can I legally do with his home.

It depends, if he dies and has a will and you are named as his heirs then you can sell the home or return it to the to the mortgator if the house is not paid off. Option 2, if he is coherent he can give you power of attorney to handle his affairs. Option 3, if he is not coherent you can go to court to have a gaurdian appointed it for him.
