Property deed

How can I remove my daugthers name from my deed, her name is not on my mortage but it is on the deed. I am over 65 and cannot pay my property tax in Dallas and shes not.

She (your daughter) needs to deed to you any interest that she has in the property. A quitclaim deed will do this, and you need to file that quitclaim deed with the county clerk. You might be able to find one of these online, or a lawyer can do it for you.

How did your daughter get on the title? Typically, you'd handle this by having the daughter execute a special warranty deed. A lawyer or title office can do this for you. You should double check with the mortgage company to make sure there are no restrictions on transfer.
