Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

i have property with my ex and he is in jail again going back to prison and i want to get rid of the property but i don't know how or what to do. I have the paper to the place

A few questions:

1. What kind of property? A house? Land? Car?

2. How did you acquire the property?

3. Is there a lien/mortgage on the property?

4. Is the ex in agreement on getting rid of the property?

5. You said you have "the paper in place" What do you mean, exactly?
