I would like to break a lease contract on my apartment.I have 4 months left on a lease.The office want's me to pay rent for all 4 months if i want to leave early.If i don't they will put this on my credit report.I am moving out of state for business reasons.What can i do?

Sublease - but be sure you are in control of the payments. Always remember a lease is a contract and you could have asked for a transfer clause at the time of execution.
