Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Property Lease

My grandmother passed two years ago. Her property has been divided amongst her living children. We are now receiving mineral checks but monies are going to the leaser's and not the owners. I would like to know how can we get the original lease agreement and how can we change who receives the monies?

You will need to check the county records for the exact ownership and have the executor convey to the heirs.
