Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Property without a will

My mother passed away in 1995 without a will. There are 7 sisters, is there such a thing as a statue of limitations that would force any one of us to sign our part to one sibling?

No. The only thing that could force you to sell is a lawsuit called a partition action. It will not force you to sign your part to one sibling unless you are justly compensated. This type of lawsuit might cost the parties upwards of $5-10,000.
