Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I purchased a log cabin home kit and paid 70% down. The shell was built, but not to the specifications indicated. Since there was no written contract of what should happen if it's not built correctly or if I don't pay the remaining balance, do I have to pay? Or is there something the company who built it can do to place a lien on my property?

They can place a lien on your property, but it is best to contact an attorney to sue for damages if they don't fix the problems.
