quit deed vs. power of attorney

my father recently gave me power of attorney heres my question. he has a property in which the tax office in dallas texas notified him was deliquent and that he is the owner. now it is a quit deed claim naming him first(all by himself) then his five siblings it mentions et al which ive learned mean an others. will the power of attorney make me sole owner since it shows him at the dallas county tax office

Power of attorney does not transfer ownership; it can only transfer authority to act on behalf of the owner. Once the owner passes away, the PoA also expires if not sooner.
