Real Estate Deeds
Does an attorney have to be involved in a transfer of real property in Texas? Can a bill of sale and deed be filed ourselves?

A bill of sale is not necessary to transfer title to real property. You can prepare and file a deed yourself, but if it is done wrong, there will be a title problem later. I charge $100 for the preparation of a simple deed and it is worth every penny of the cost. You should call an attorney to help you.
