Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

i received a phone call that my two timeshares that are for sale have sold for my asking price. the man from international transfers.org said that he needs a credit card from me to place a hold on for $2700 which will be returned to me after i receive the proceeds and sign over the title.....if i dont sign over the title, they will keep the $ 2700 is this normal? any ideas?

im in texas and timeshares are in tex....he is in ga

It sounds like he's a crook. Ask him for documentation - an earnest money contract, or a deed - showing that the property was sold.
