Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
after a recent property sale in texas i had a question on a detail, i called attorny who i thought was the author of the contract, attorney said he would check his records if he wrote the contract, attorney return call and said he was not correct attorney. Now i was billed $275 for his services? we had no verbal or signed written agreement on fees. what does the texas code state about this?
