Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas
I recently moved into a retal house in new braunfels, TX. After we moved in I found out that a registered sex offender lives next door and shares a yard with me because the properties are not separated by a fence. The man whom i found out recently is a sex offender came to my door and introduced himself as my neighbor shortly after we moved in. I have 2 young children and I'm scared now to let them out of my sight for any reason when I'm at home. What are my rights as far as breaking my lease legally. My landlord doesn't want to work with me on this.

You may have a problem. Sex offenders are "registered" so you can check before you sign the lease or buy the house.
